I've been living in San Francisco Bay Area for ten years now. I've explored most of place from Napa to Santa Cruz. But the only place I really haven’t go is East Bay specially Oakland. Because I am really easy to lost and don’t know where the dangers, etc. After I moved to the Oakland, I really enjoy my new living. It’s so fresh because I haven’t been here and all the things I saw looks fresh and new. I almost feel like I moved to the new city something far from San Francisco. Now we would like to have first party in Oakland. I am not sure how many people would interest in to come to the DMM party yet I met pretty cool people here. Many artists live here and work looks more heavy-duty folks than the SF. They often own heavy industry machinery working on metals, wood, fire, etc. That’s pretty cool, the real artists here. Let’s kicking things off. I am not sure what’s the perfect name for the party but let’s use established name for now. Whitebox VIP Lounge Act 14. But we are not doing real-time documentary this time. We are more focused on entertainment and social network for this time. Headliners: Sindri (Miami) http://www.sindri.org/ Her web site only showing arty albums that she released before. But please don’t expect same songs happen. She become Hip-Hop artist recently and she going to sing, perhaps she wants to get some rappers for her stage. Frog Pocket (Scotland) http://www.aferecords.com/artists/frog_pocket.htm Fine guitarist and IDM producer. He is joining this party on the way he goes to Seattle. Good line up for the DJs who going to crazy for dance. Date: April 21st, 2007 (Sat) Place: Privately own 40,000 sq. warehouse in Oakland (see photos). P.S. sound room inside the warehouse can go loud but only hold 100 people for dance. Please bear in your mind about it. A plenty space for socialize and walk around for the interesting discovery. Inside pouch area alone could hold 1000 people for smoking cigarettes. Yes, we are looking for musicians and artists for this party. Please contact me directly.
